Significance of Suhasini: This ritual is performed by 5 Suhasinis of the house together. They set up a Devaka with wheat, rice and turmeric-kunkva, which is a symbol of prosperity.

4. Social and family harmony
In earlier times, entire devotees and villagers used to come together for Gavdev and Devak rituals. Even today all the family members come together on this occasion.
