The teaser starts with a big demonstration, where farmers and common people are seen taking to the streets to protest against lawyer Archana (Kajal Aggarwal). The crowd demands his arrest and is seen blackening his posters in anger.

After this the story reaches the courtroom. Here Shreyas Talpade’s character Yogesh Pandey demands justice for the death of his 7 year old daughter. He says that his daughter died not due to cancer, but due to adulteration and pesticides present in the food.

Kajal fights the case
In this case, Kajal Aggarwal’s character Archana is seen fighting against pesticide manufacturing companies. There is also a shocking scene at the end of the teaser, where a woman slaps Kajal Aggarwal during the performance. This film brings to the fore the serious issue of pesticides and food adulteration and shows how it is gradually affecting our health and future generations.

When will the film be released?

The film is directed by Chetan DK and written and produced by Sagar B Shinde. A big but less discussed public health issue of India will be shown in the film. The co-producers of the film include Swati Vinayak Saidane, Anita Jadhav, Vinayak Saidani, Kalpesh Shah, Devyani Khorate and Prem Joshi. The technical team of the film includes cinematographer Nishant Bhagwat, music composer Mangesh Dhakade, editor Ashish Mhatre, lyricist Shakeel Azmi and sound designer Anmol Bhave. ‘The India Story’ will be released in theaters on July 24, 2026. The film will be released worldwide in Hindi, Telugu and Tamil languages.
