Businessman’s body found in Kannada actress’s house, murder or suicide?
Bengaluru. A shocking news has come out from Rajarajeshwari Nagar, Bengaluru. Here, a businessman has allegedly committed suicide at the house of famous Kannada film actress Krishi Thapanda. According to the police, the deceased was suffering from depression for some time. Let us tell you that this incident happened last night at around 8:30 pm.
Police said that the deceased has been identified as Vaishakh, who was staying at the house of actress Krishi Thapanda for the last one week. Krishi was not at home at the time of the incident, she had gone to Yalahanka for some work. Police have not recovered any suicide note from the spot. The body has been sent to Victoria Hospital for postmortem.
Was troubled by family discord and depression
Initial investigation has revealed that Vaishakh was suffering from severe depression and was also undergoing treatment. He was surrounded by many personal and family problems. Due to family disputes, he was living separately from his wife for the last one month.
Name had appeared in high-profile extortion case
Vaishakh’s name also recently came up in a high-profile extortion and intimidation case, due to which he was on the police radar. Understand the whole matter in this way that in February this year, a threatening letter was sent through courier to a well-known businessman and lawyer Arvind Reddy. In this, a demand of Rs 6 to 7 crore was made and an apology was asked.
While investigating this case, HAL police station arrested Vaishakh. The allegation was that he had sent this threatening letter due to a dispute related to a woman. However, he was later released. After this, on February 6, the Karnataka High Court had stayed further investigation against Vaishakh. Earlier, the police had taken him into custody and interrogated him for 5 days.
