Bobby Deol Reveals Why He Was Extra Careful With Alia Bhatt On ‘Alpha’ Set
Mumbai: Bobby Deol has opened up about his experience of working with Alia Bhatt in the upcoming spy thriller ‘Alpha’, revealing that he was initially worried about filming action sequences with her.
Speaking about their time on set, the actor admitted that Alia’s petite frame made him extra cautious during physically demanding scenes, as he feared accidentally hurting her.
Despite his concerns, Bobby praised Alia’s commitment and professionalism while shooting the film.
“If you see us, Alia, physically standing next to each other, she is so tiny, which is why I was worried that I might hurt her while performing. But when I was on set with her, she was so damn good at it,” Bobby said.
The behind-the-scenes video offers a glimpse into the challenging action sequences planned for the film, showcasing its scale and intensity.
Action director Craig Macrae teased a mix of high-octane stunts, including wire work, explosions, gun battles and knife fights, promising an adrenaline-filled cinematic experience.
“Rotations on wires, explosions, gunfights, knife fights. It’s going to be a great ride,” Craig said.
Highlighting Alia’s transformation and dedication to challenging action sequences, director Shiv Rawail said, “Audience will get to see a very new Alia Bhatt.”
“Alia has put in much of training into just this sequence. Hopefully the audience are going to get to see a very new Alia Bhatt. When you see the film and you see the action sequences, one thing is that they’ve done all of this themselves. They are performing those guns at that break-neck rocket speed,” he added.
