A major reshuffle has been seen in the Uttar Pradesh Police Department. Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath’s government has transferred 5 IPS officers. Assistant Police Commissioner level officers of Lucknow Police have been given new assignments. The order related to transfer and appointment has been issued on June 27.
IPS officer Mahesh Tyagi has been given the responsibility of the post of Assistant Commissioner of Police (ACP) Traffic. Before this he was working on the post of Lucknow Assistant Police Commissioner. Prateek Dahiya has been appointed to the post of Assistant Police Commissioner, Cyber, Uttar Pradesh-112 Lines. Before this he was holding the responsibility of the post of ACP Lucknow.
Who is the new ACP of Ghazipur and Mahilabad?
- Atul Kumar Pandey has been appointed to the post of Assistant Police Commissioner Ghazipur.
- Sujit Kumar Dubey, working on the post of Mahilaabad ACP, has been made the new ACP of Cantt.
- Gyanendra Singh, working on the post of Cantt ACP, has been posted as Assistant Commissioner of Police Mahilabad.
30 PPS officers of UP will become IPS
30 Provincial Police Service officers of Uttar Pradesh are going to get promotion, they are going to become Indian Police Service officers. The names of the officers have been approved in a meeting of the Union Public Service Commission held in New Delhi.
