Ketan murder case: Sahil interrogated again, parents also summoned!

The family members of Siya Goyal, accused in the murder of 26-year-old real estate businessman Ketan Aggarwal of Pune, have been interrogated for the second consecutive day. On Saturday, Sia’s parents and her brother Sahil appeared at the Lonavala police station, where the police interrogated them in the Ketan murder case.

Pune Police had called Sia’s parents as well as Sahil for questioning. After this, Siya’s family reached Lonavala police station on Saturday morning.

Earlier, on Friday, Sia’s brother Sahil was interrogated by the police for about 10 hours. An official of Lonavala Rural Police confirmed that Sahil was called for questioning and was released after being interrogated for several hours.

According to police officials, Sahil had arrived for questioning on Friday morning and was allowed to leave late in the evening. During this, the officers asked him questions on the relationship between Sia and co-accused Chetan Chaudhary, their contacts and many important aspects related to the case. According to the police, during interrogation, Sahil said, “If Siya had said that she did not like Ketan, we would have stopped the marriage.”

In this case, Siya Goyal is accused of murdering her fiance Ketan Aggarwal. Initially his death was considered to be an accident during tracking, but later investigation revealed it to be a planned murder conspiracy.

Police said that on June 18, Siya Goyal and her lover Chetan Chaudhary had murdered Ketan Aggarwal by pushing him off the mountain at Lohgarh Fort in Lonavala. Investigating agencies believe that both of them hatched this conspiracy because Siya did not want to get married in November. Ketan Aggarwal was the director and chief marketing officer at his family’s real estate company Success Group.
