Weather havoc in UP, heat wave in some places and storm in some places, alert in 30 districts

UP Weather: The weather patterns are constantly changing in Uttar Pradesh. On Saturday, there was strong sunshine in most of the cities of the state in the morning, due to which both heat and humidity increased. Due to the scorching heat in Aligarh, the timings of schools up to class 8 had to be changed.

At the same time, a farmer died due to lightning in Hamirpur, due to which there is an atmosphere of mourning in the area. The weather changed in Jhansi and Lalitpur in the afternoon and dark clouds appeared in the sky.

Heatwave warning in 22 districts

Today the Meteorological Department has issued an alert of storm and rain in about 30 districts of the state. There is also a possibility of lightning at some places. Besides, warning of heat wave has also been given in 22 districts. In many areas the wind speed can reach 40 kilometers per hour.

Monsoon delayed by about a week

Meanwhile, an update regarding monsoon has also come out. Monsoon has been stuck in Maharajganj area near the Uttar Pradesh border for the last several days. Usually it reaches the state by June 20, but this time it is likely to reach by June 29 or 30, which means it is getting delayed by about a week.

There may be a drop of 8 to 9 degrees

According to the Meteorological Department, the effect of heat wave will continue till June 29, but after that it is likely to start raining. With the onset of rain, the temperature may drop by 8 to 9 degrees, which will give people relief from heat and humidity. After June 30, monsoon rains are expected to intensify in most parts of the state.
