MPCA becomes hi-tech; New digital chronology of cricket revealed from Indore press conference

MPCA Big Initiative: Madhya Pradesh Cricket Association (MPCA) is now going to increase the use of modern technology in cricket. MPCA President Mahaaryaman Scindia announced in a press conference held in Indore that Artificial Intelligence (AI) technology will be adopted to improve cricket management and player performance. He informed that AI is being used successfully for the first time in Madhya Pradesh Premier League (MPL) and seeing its positive results, it will be implemented in the regular functioning of MPCA in future.

Scientific analysis of players’ performance will be done through AI

Mahaaryaman Scindia said that AI based software will do detailed and scientific analysis of the players’ performance. This will make it possible to objectively evaluate the technical ability, performance and consistency of the players. He said that through this technology, talented players can be identified more accurately than before, which will make the selection process transparent and effective. This will give young players a better opportunity to move forward on the basis of their talent.

Administrative work of MPCA will also be hi-tech

The MPCA President said that the use of AI technology will not be limited to the performance of players only, but will also be used in administrative tasks. This will make the functioning more organized, decision making process will be faster and operating costs will also reduce. He informed that this AI software is being developed by an emergent company. The special thing is that MPCA will not have to bear any additional financial burden in getting this technology ready.

MPL becomes the biggest platform for new talents

Mahaaryaman Scindia said that Madhya Pradesh Premier League has emerged as a strong platform for young cricketers of the state. He said that so far around 20 new talents have emerged from MPL, who have attracted the attention of the selectors with their performances. He hopes that at least five of these players will be seen playing in the upcoming Indian Premier League (IPL).
