Shah Rukh Khan Celebrates 34 Years in Bollywood in Mangaluru, Recreates DDLJ Magic

Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan celebrated an important milestone in his career by marking 34 years in the film industry during a special event in Karnataka’s Mangaluru on Thursday.


The event, hosted by a real estate group, turned into a memorable celebration as the actor entertained fans with energetic dance performances and nostalgic recreations of some of his most iconic film moments.

A Homecoming for Shah Rukh Khan

The visit carried emotional significance for Shah Rukh, who spent the first five years of his childhood in Mangaluru with his grandfather before moving to New Delhi.

Greeting the audience with a warm “Namaskara” in Kannada, the actor thanked fans for the overwhelming welcome.

“Thank you, Mangalore! I didn’t know what to expect when I was coming here. But the warmth, love and excitement from the airport to this venue have been incredible,” Shah Rukh said.

His visit coincided with the 34th anniversary of his Bollywood debut, which began with the 1992 film Deewana.

‘Chammak Challo’ and DDLJ Moments Delight Fans

Videos from the event quickly went viral on social media, showing Shah Rukh dancing to some of his biggest chartbusters, including Jhoome Jo Pathaan and Chammak Challo.

The loudest cheers came when the superstar recreated memorable scenes from Dilwale Dulhania Le Jayenge (DDLJ), bringing back nostalgia for fans.

The audience repeatedly requested him to perform on Chammak Challo, and Shah Rukh obliged, turning the event into a celebration of his three-decade-long journey in Indian cinema.
