Threat of Rs 20 crore to Rohit Shetty, audio clip creates stir before ‘Khatron Ke Khiladi 15’

According to reports, Rohit Shetty has received a threat of paying a ransom of Rs 20 crore through an audio clip. Threat of Rs 20 crore found in audio clip

According to the report of news agency IANS, this threatening audio clip has been received by Rohit Shetty’s staff. It is suspected that this clip has been sent by criminals associated with the notorious Lawrence Bishnoi gang. Very shocking and scary things have been said in this audio clip. The clip clearly warns that the firing that took place outside Rohit Shetty’s house in Juhu a few months ago was just a ‘trailer’. If a ransom of Rs 20 crore is not paid, this time a direct attack will be carried out.

Police and crime branch started investigation

Seeing the seriousness of this matter, Mumbai Police and Crime Branch have immediately come into action. A senior Mumbai Crime Branch official said that Rohit Shetty’s employees have informed the police about this threatening audio clip. A case in this regard has been registered at Juhu Police Station. Police suspect that the voice heard in the audio clip could be that of a person named Shubham Lonkar. At present, this clip has been sent for investigation to confirm the authenticity and sound of the clip.

There has been firing before too

This is not the first time that Rohit Shetty has received such threats. Earlier this year, at midnight on 1 February 2026, unknown assailants had fired five rounds outside the house of comedian Rohit Shetty located near Juhu’s comedian Mahmood Chowk. Even at that time, Lawrence Bishnoi gang had taken responsibility for this firing through social media. Later, showing promptness, the police arrested the absconding shooter of this case, Deepak Sharma, from Agra, Uttar Pradesh. Just a few months after this incident, there has been a stir due to receiving threat again.
