Big warning from Ministry of External Affairs on Kailash Mansarovar Yatra: Many Indians stranded in Nepal without permit-visa, important advisory issued
New Delhi: The Ministry of External Affairs (MEA) has issued a very important guideline for Indian pilgrims going on a religious pilgrimage to Kailash Mansarovar. The government has warned that many devotees set out on the journey through private tour operators without completing the necessary documents, due to which they are stuck in Nepal. The ministry has taken this step after receiving requests for help from these citizens stranded in Nepal.
Do not leave the country without permit and visa
According to the official statement issued by the Ministry of External Affairs, some pilgrims left India without waiting for the documents required for their journey. Due to lack of mandatory visa and permit to enter China, these travelers have been forced to stay in Nepal.
Clear advice from the government: Never start a journey outside the borders of India until you have all the legal documents and permissions related to the journey in your hands. Leaving the house only on the hope or belief that further documents will be found on the way, can land the devotees in big trouble.
It is important to check the authenticity of tour operators
Another very important thing has been said in the advisory. Devotees have been appealed to check the concerned tour operator thoroughly before making the booking.
Before setting out on a trip, ensure that your tour operator is fully authorized by the government. Registered and Authorized Is.
Due to falling prey to unauthorized or fake operators, travelers often have to face paperwork and mental problems while going abroad.
The main objective of the Ministry is to ensure that no citizen of the country becomes a victim of any unwanted trouble or fraud during his holy religious journey and that his journey remains completely safe and smooth.
