According to the latest prediction and forecast of Regional Meteorological Center Lucknow of India Meteorological Department (IMD), there are chances of heavy rain in more than 40 districts of Uttar Pradesh. The Meteorological Department has issued an alert saying that in the areas where there is a possibility of thunder and lightning, light to moderate rainfall can be recorded.
Badra will rain in these districts of Eastern UP
According to the report of the Meteorological Department, many districts of Eastern Uttar Pradesh can see good rainfall activities along with strong movement of dark clouds in the sky. There is a constant possibility of rain in major areas of UP like Varanasi, Chandauli, Ghazipur, Jaunpur, Azamgarh, Mau, Ballia, Deoria, Gorakhpur, Kushinagar, Maharajganj, Sant Kabirnagar, Basti, Siddharthnagar, Ambedkarnagar, Ayodhya, Barabanki, Sultanpur, Amethi, Pratapgarh and all its surrounding areas. Lucknow Meteorological Center says that there may be thunderstorms and heavy showers at some places in these districts, due to which the weather will become pleasant.
Weather will be pleasant in western and central UP also
Monsoon activity is clearly visible in eastern Uttar Pradesh as well as in areas of western and central Uttar Pradesh. According to the indications of meteorologists, there are full chances of rain in Prayagraj, Mirzapur, Sonbhadra, Bhadohi, Kaushambi, Fatehpur, Banda, Chitrakoot, Hamirpur, Mahoba, Kanpur Nagar, Kanpur Dehat, Unnao, Rae Bareli and their adjoining areas. At many of these locations, light to moderate rainfall along with dense thunderstorms can be recorded at many places.

The Meteorological Department has also advised people to remain alert amid this relief. Officials have said that in the special areas where there is the highest possibility of thunder and lightning, along with the rain, winds can also blow at very high speed. The department has given strict instructions that during bad weather or strong storm, do not stand under big trees or electric poles and take shelter only in a solid and safe place during lightning.
