There will be changes in many rules from July 1

July 1 New Rules 2026: Many new rules come into force with the first date of every month, which impact the everyday life and wallets of common people. Now the month of June is about to end and many important changes are going to be implemented from July 1, 2026. These changes will have a direct impact on employed people, taxpayers, bank customers and common customers. Many rules like facility of withdrawing PF from UPI, possible change in LPG prices, deadline for filing ITR, passport fees and Aadhaar update may change from July 1. In such a situation, it is important to have advance information about these new changes.

Last date to file ITR

If you are employed or have income that does not require tax audit, then you will have to file your Income Tax Return (ITR) by July 31. Such people will have to fill the return form through ITR-1 or ITR-2 form.

New rules of HDFC credit card

From July 1, HDFC Bank is going to change some rules of its Regalia Gold and Diners Club Privilege credit cards. Especially new rules related to airport lounge access will be implemented, due to which there will be changes in the facilities of cardholders.

Prices of LPG-CNG and PNG may change

Like every month, on July 1 too, oil companies will review the prices of LPG, CNG and PNG. After this, new rates of domestic and commercial gas cylinders as well as CNG and PNG may be released. Air turbine fuel prices can also change, making air tickets more expensive or cheaper.

You can withdraw PF money through UPI

EPFO can launch its new digital platform EPFO 3.0 from July 1. After this, employees will be able to easily withdraw their PF money through UPI. With the new facility, it will take only a few minutes to get money instead of several days.

Getting a passport will be expensive

The fees for making and re-issuing passport will increase from July 1. The fee for a 36 page ordinary passport will increase from Rs 1,500 to Rs 2,500. Now Rs 5,000 will have to be paid for immediate service. The fee for 60 page jumbo passport has also been increased.
