Bollywood’s famous action director and film producer Rohit Shetty Once again became a target of the underworld and gangsters. On Saturday morning, the film industry and the Mumbai Police received a major shock when Rohit Shetty again received a death threat from an unknown person. This time not only a threat was given, but a huge ransom of Rs 20 crore was also demanded. On getting information about this high-profile case, the Mumbai Police was immediately alerted and handed over the case to the Crime Branch.

According to the latest reports, the threat was sent not through a direct phone call, but through an audio clip. On Saturday morning, Rohit Shetty’s staff received a 90-second audio message. The clip clearly warned that if the stipulated amount was not paid, there would be dire consequences and the target would be Rohit Shetty himself.

According to the preliminary information of the police, the voice heard in this audio is Lawrence Bishnoi The wanted shooter is believed to be Shubham Lonkar, a close associate of the gang. Shubham Lonkar is the main accused in the murder of famous politician Baba Siddiqui in 2024 and shooting at Rohit Shetty’s house in February 2026 and is absconding.

This is not the first time the Bishnoi gang has targeted Rohit Shetty. Earlier, on the night of January 31 this year, five shots were fired to create terror outside Rohit Shetty’s residence in Juhu, for which the Lawrence gang itself claimed responsibility.

When the shooter Deepak Sharma was caught by the police from Agra, he made a very shocking revelation. Deepak had said that he jumped into the world of crime after being influenced by the Lawrence Bishnoi gang’s reels and posts on Facebook and Instagram. Currently, the police are sending the new audio clip to a forensic lab for audio examination. The police officer says that he is leaving no stone unturned for the safety of Rohit Shetty and the search for absconding accused Praveen Lonkar and Arju Bishnoi has also been intensified.
