6 attackers killed in suicide attack on Pak Army headquarters in Karachi city of Pakistan, 4 soldiers also killed
Pakistan, Islamabad. Six terrorists were killed and four soldiers were also killed in a suicide attack on the headquarters of paramilitary force Border Rangers in Karachi, with several soldiers injured. According to the information received, a vehicle loaded with explosives hit the Border Ranger headquarters building, resulting in an explosion and subsequent firing. After continuous firing from both sides for a long time, the situation was brought under control.

Who attacked?
According to international news agency Reuters, six extremists involved in the attack have been killed. The incident occurred near the university and the meteorological department office. At present, the affected area has been surrounded by security forces and the movement of normal vehicles has been stopped. Jamaat-ul-Ahrar, a ruthless extremist group of Tehrik-i-Taliban Pakistan, has claimed responsibility for the attack on the Sindh Rangers headquarters. This attack was carried out by a suicide squad named ‘Khulafa-e-Rashideen Istishhadi Brigade’.
What did Sindh CM say?
Sindh Chief Minister ‘Syed Murad Ali Shah’ has taken cognizance of this attack and has also sought a detailed report of this incident. Police should immediately reach the spot, ascertain the nature of the incident and take all necessary steps, he said in a statement. In recent times, there has been an increase in terrorist attacks targeting police and security forces in Pakistan. Officials have blamed the Pakistani Taliban and its affiliated terrorist groups for much of the violence.
