Ayush Sharma said, the picture of Kashi is changing under Modi leadership!
Bollywood actor Ayush Sharma is in the news for his upcoming film ‘Kashi’. A major part of its shooting and story is related to Banaras i.e. Kashi of Uttar Pradesh. Meanwhile, he spoke to IANS praising the development work done in Kashi Vishwanath Dham under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi. He also spoke openly about his experience and spiritual connection.
Speaking to IANS, Ayush Sharma said, “I have continuously heard from the local people that a lot of development work has taken place in Kashi in the last few years and there has been a huge improvement in the cleanliness system. The picture of Banaras is changing under the leadership of the Prime Minister, the changes that have taken place in the Kashi Vishwanath Temple area are praiseworthy.”
Kashi is a big center of faith in Hinduism, preserving and maintaining it is a big responsibility. A large number of tourists come here from India and abroad, and in such a situation it is very important for the city to be developed and clean.”
He further talked in detail about his upcoming film, which is based on the backdrop of Kashi. This film shows the characters of Banaras and their journey in a dark comedy style.
Ayush said, “The name of my film is ‘Kashi’, and this film is based on two major places Kashi and Mayanagari Mumbai. The film shows the story of five different characters of Banaras, which have been presented in the style of dark comedy.
The journey of these characters reaches Mumbai, where they try to solve a big mystery. The film has all the elements like action, romance, comedy and thriller. This is a full family entertainment film. The climax of the film is very unique and different, which I have rarely seen in Hindi cinema.
During a conversation with IANS, Ayush Sharma shared the spirituality of Banaras and the experience of the Ganga Ghats, saying, “Banaras is a place where every person should visit at least once in a lifetime. I also brought my mother here. She became very emotional after seeing the holy river Ganga for the first time.
The beauty and tranquility of the Ganga ghats impressed my mother deeply. I took him to Bhairav temple and will take him to Kashi Vishwanath in future. For years my mother had only heard about Kashi, but now she experienced it up close.”
Talking about his faith, the actor said, “I am a big devotee of Lord Mahadev. Whenever I get an opportunity to come to Kashi, I definitely visit the Kashi Vishwanath Temple.”
Finally, while sharing his shooting experience, he said that despite the scorching heat, the enthusiasm and love of the people coming to the set inspires me a lot. He said, “Last time I came to Kashi to shoot a song, the local people encouraged me with applause and whistles. This love brings me here every time.”
