Pune murder case: Siya took ₹ 1 crore from Ketan in the name of marriage, gave it to Chetan, police custody of both extended to this extent, know new revelations

Pune. Many shocking claims have come to light during the investigation into the murder of 26-year-old real estate businessman Ketan Aggarwal. According to the police, the deceased’s fiancee Siya Goyal had taken around Rs 1 crore from Ketan in the name of wedding shopping and other preparations. The investigation alleges that she had given this amount to her alleged lover Chetan Chaudhary.

During the hearing of the case on Monday, the Pune court extended the police custody of Sia Goyal and Chetan Chaudhary till July 3, so that the police can complete further investigation.

Money was taken in the name of wedding expenses-
According to police sources, Sia had taken around Rs 1 crore from Ketan Aggarwal citing wedding shopping and other wedding related expenses. Investigating agencies claim that instead of spending it on wedding preparations, this amount was given to Chetan Chaudhary so that he could become financially strong and pursue his career.

Police believe that this alleged financial transaction could be an important part of the murder conspiracy.

The alleged plan was to postpone marriage for three years after the murder.
During investigation, the police claimed that Chetan Chaudhary was from a financially weak family and he had told Siya that it would take about three years for him to become financially established.

According to the police, the two had allegedly planned that they would not get married immediately after Ketan’s death. After waiting for three years, when the matter calms down and Chetan becomes financially capable, then both of them will get married, so that there is no doubt on them.

The alleged sign was an excuse to drink water-
According to the investigating officers, a fixed signal was also arranged between the two before the murder. Police claim that Sia was asked to sit down on the pretext of drinking water or tying her shoelaces. This will be the signal to Chetan that the time has come to push Ketan off the cliff.

Police also say that the purpose of this sign was to keep Siya at a safe distance from Ketan, so that he could not catch her while falling.

There was a phone conversation before the murder-
According to the call detail record (CDR) revealed in the police investigation, there was a conversation between Siya and Chetan about 34 minutes before the incident. Investigating agencies suspect that this call was made for final confirmation of the alleged conspiracy.

Police claim that the plan for the murder was ready by the end of May and on June 14, an attempt was made to murder Ketan, which could not succeed.

Investigation ongoing, allegations yet to be confirmed-
According to police, 20-year-old Siya Goyal and 22-year-old Chetan Choudhary were arrested on June 18 for allegedly conspiring to kill Ketan Agarwal by pushing him off the hill of Lohagarh Fort.

At present the investigation of the case is going on. The final confirmation of the allegations made by the police will happen only after hearing in the court and testing the available evidence.
