Horrific road accident on Yamuna Expressway
A Volvo bus rammed into a trailer laden with ballast from behind on the Yamuna Expressway in Mathura. 4 passengers have died in the accident, about 19 are injured. Giving information about the accident, SP Rural Suresh Chandra Rawat said, “A road accident has taken place on the Yamuna Expressway in Mathura district. A trailer was going in the third lane. A Volvo bus carrying about 65 passengers from behind collided with the trailer due to over speeding. Police had received the information at 3:35. A green corridor was made from the spot towards the hospital. The injured were immediately sent to the hospital, out of which 4 people were declared dead. 19 people have died and are undergoing treatment here. The entire administration team is present at the spot.”
