Rohit Shetty again receives death threat, police busy searching for the person demanding ransom of Rs 20 crore

New Delhi :A case of famous Bollywood film director Rohit Shetty receiving death threats has once again come to light. This time the threat was given through a phone call, in which the caller demanded a ransom of Rs 20 crore. It was also warned that if the fixed amount was not given, the director’s life could be in serious danger. After the incident came to light, security agencies immediately became active and a thorough investigation of the entire matter has been started.

It is being told that the threatening call had come to Rohit Shetty’s office in Mumbai. During the call, the accused demanded a huge amount of money and threatened to kill him if the money was not paid. As soon as information about the incident was received, Rohit Shetty’s team contacted the police without any delay and lodged a complaint about the entire incident.

After receiving the complaint, the police has started technical investigation of the call. The investigating agencies are examining the caller’s mobile number, location, call records and other digital evidence. Apart from this, it is also being ascertained from which place the accused made the call and whether there is any organized network behind it. Police are also examining the records of old cases so that some kind of connection can come to light.

At present no person or gang has been officially confirmed. However, the investigating agencies are working keeping every aspect in mind. Officials say that a conclusion will be reached only after sufficient evidence is obtained and strict legal action will be taken against the culprits.

This is not the first time that Rohit Shetty has received such threats. Even before this, an incident of firing outside his house has come to light. Many people were interrogated in that case and some accused were also arrested. Now after receiving a new threat, the police is busy finding possible connections between the old cases and the current incident.

Over the past few years, many artists and celebrities associated with the film industry have faced threat and extortion cases. After such cases, concerns about the safety of high-profile people have continuously increased. Security agencies are also reviewing their security arrangements from time to time so that any possible threat can be prevented in time.

At present the investigation of the case is going on and the police is trying to reach the accused with the help of technical experts. Officials say that every aspect of the case will be thoroughly investigated and as soon as the culprits are identified, strict action will be taken against them as per law.
