‘Overcompensating’s Benito Skinner teases ‘Sinister’ season 2 plot

Benito Skinner is taking on a new challenge by pulling double duty on screen for the second season of his Prime Video series, Overcompensating.

In chat with Deadline on June 27, the 32-year-old comedian and actor teased a darker twist for the upcoming season, saying that “something sinister” is coming to the college comedy series, where he will reprise his role as Benny and step into an additional mystery part.

At the Prime Video’s Obsessed Fest Benito admitted that he will be playing two roles in the new season, but still kept the role under the wraps.

“I do play two characters this season,” he shared. “Yeah, there’s something coming, something sinister.”
