Akanksha Chamola’s emotional revelation
In the first episode of the second season of the famous TV show Lock Up, actress Akanksha Chamola made a shocking revelation. She told that she and her husband, actor Gaurav Khanna, have now decided to get a divorce. In the third episode of the show, Akanksha shared her feelings saying that it was extremely difficult for her to talk about her personal life on this platform.
Gaurav Khanna’s reaction on social media
After this revelation, Gaurav Khanna has shared some new pictures on his social media. He has written only two hashtags in the caption, ‘Love Yourself’ and his name. Apart from this, he also shared the song ‘O Mere Khuda’ on his Instagram story. Recently, Gaurav was seen all smiles at an event where he showed the heart sign to the paparazzi, but did not comment on the divorce news. Gaurav is also currently seen in the reality show ‘Khatron Ke Khiladi 15’.
Reason for separation of Akanksha and Gaurav
During the show, Akanksha revealed, “Me and Gaurav are getting divorced. We have been living separately for the last one year, and no one knew it.” He clarified that there is no animosity between them and they still talk. Explaining the reason for their separation, they said that their thoughts and dreams for the future are different.
Akanksha further said, “Gaurav wants children now, but I cannot give him a child. I have no desire to become a mother, and I have already told this to him.” He said that most people marry to raise a family, and Gaurav’s desire is right. After Bigg Boss, they realized that Gaurav wanted children, and she was not ready for it, so they decided to separate.

Gaurav Khanna and Akanksha Chamola were married on 24 November 2016. The wedding lasted for three days with a grand ceremony in Gaurav’s hometown Kanpur.
