Tata Sierra EV: Variant-wise features with price explained

Tata Motors has just launched the new Tata Sierra EV SUV in the Indian market, with prices ranging from Rs 18.79 lakh to Rs 25.99 lakh (both prices ex-showroom; a 7.2kW home charger and its installation cost an extra Rs 49,000). Interested customers can book the new Sierra EV online or by visiting their nearest dealership. Deliveries will begin on July 15, 2026. The EV competes with Mahindra BE6, Hyundai Creta EV, MG ZS EV, BYD Atto 3 and other mid-size EVs in the Indian market. In this article, let’s take a look at detailed variant-wise features with prices. The Sierra EV is offered with two battery pack options: a 63 kWh unit and a larger 75 kWh unit. The 63 kWh battery is available exclusively with a front-wheel-drive (FWD) configuration, while the 75 kWh battery can be paired with either a front-wheel-drive (FWD) or a dual-motor all-wheel-drive (AWD) setup.
Colour options include Rishikesh Rapids, Nainital Nocturne, Coorg Clouds, Pure Grey, Pristine White, Andaman Adventure and Bengal Rouge. It’s offered in six variants – Pure, Pure S, Adventure, Empowered, Empowered A, Empowered A AWD.Pure 63 kWh: 18.79 lakh (ex-showroom)The Pure is the entry level trim and gets features such as six airbags, all-wheel disc brakes, ABS with EBD, electronic stability program (ESP), traction control system (TCS), hill hold control, hill descent control, an electronic parking brake with auto hold, tyre pressure monitoring system (TPMS), a tyre repair kit, central locking, rain-sensing wipers, a rear wiper and washer, a rear-view camera, push-button start/stop, a 10.25-inch digital driver’s display, a 12.3-inch touchscreen infotainment system with wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay.An eight-speaker audio system, Amazon Alexa voice assistant, connected car technology with over-the-air (OTA) updates, two front USB Type-C ports (15W multimedia and 65W charging), two rear 65W USB Type-C charging ports, a tilt and telescopic adjustable steering wheel with mounted controls, regenerative braking paddle shifters, cruise control, manually adjustable front seats, a manual IRVM, height-adjustable front seatbelts, a front armrest with storage, a cooled glovebox, automatic climate control, a PM 2.5 air purifier, Economy, City and Sport drive modes, valet mode, power windows, an EV route planner for Android Auto, adjustable front and rear headrests, rear AC vents, a rear window sunshade, automatic LED projector headlamps, LED DRLs and tail lamps, 18-inch alloy wheels, electrically adjustable ORVMs with integrated turn indicators, and a shark-fin antenna with GPS.
