In the Maharaja Trophy Karnataka State Association T20 Trophy match played on July 1, Samit presented such an example of aggressive batting that he is being discussed a lot on social media.

Playing for Kalyani Bengaluru Blasters, this 20-year-old batsman played an inning of 32 runs in 3 balls. His innings included 6 fours. During this, Samit played tremendous shots all around the field. During his innings, he played many excellent strokes like backfoot cut, pull shot, cover drive and lofted.
