By-election announced on high-profile Bankipur seat of Bihar, nomination will start from July 6
Patna. The Election Commission has announced the dates for the by-election on the high-profile 182-Bankipur Assembly seat of Bihar. The Election Commission of India released the by-election schedule on Thursday. According to this, voting on this seat will be held on July 30, while the results will be declared after counting of votes on August 3.

This seat became vacant after BJP National President Nitin Navin resigned from the membership of the Assembly. Now with the release of the Election Commission notification, political activity has intensified on this seat.
Nomination process will start from July 6
According to the schedule of the Election Commission, the by-election notification will be issued on July 6. The process of filing nominations will start from this day itself. Candidates will be able to file nomination papers till July 13. Scrutiny of nomination papers will be held on July 14, while candidates will be able to withdraw their names till July 16. After this the election campaign will gain momentum and voting will be held on July 30. Counting of votes will take place on August 3 and results will be declared on the same day.
BJP and RJD have not opened their cards yet

Despite the announcement of by-election dates, major political parties have not yet announced the names of their candidates. BJP will face the challenge of saving its traditional seat, while RJD will try to give a political message by winning this seat. However, Tej Pratap Yadav, who has separated from RJD, has declared Veena Manvi as the candidate from his party. This is expected to create a new equation in the election contest.
Prashant Kishore’s activism increased
On the other hand, Prashant Kishore, the architect of Jansuraj, is also continuously active regarding the Bankipur by-election. He is continuously running a public relations campaign in the area and appealing to the people to vote against BJP. It is understood that he will contest the by-election. However, the party has not yet officially announced the candidate.
Bankipur will become an election of prestige
Bankipur Assembly Seat of the capital Patna is considered very important politically. In such a situation, this by-election is not only being seen as an election for one seat, but also as a test of the upcoming political equations.
