When he was asked a question about this protest during Instagram Live, he clearly said that he has no knowledge about this protest and he prefers to keep himself away from politics. During the live, when Diljit was asked about the protests at Jantar Mantar, he said, “Which protest is taking place at Jantar Mantar? Keep me away from these protests and things like that. I am an artist. I am not a politician. Nothing can ever be completely perfect in this world.”

Diljit also said in a light-hearted manner that congratulations to those who are protesting and also congratulations to those against whom the protest is being held, because they have no knowledge of the entire matter.

What is the protest taking place about?
According to the information, an organization named Cockroach Janta Party (CJP) is protesting at Jantar Mantar in New Delhi from 6 June 2026. The organization demands that Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan resign from his post. This protest is continuing and Diljit was questioned about this.
