School Holidays: How many holidays will children get in July, check the holiday calendar of the entire month before going to school.

After the long summer holidays, studies have started once again in schools across the country. Now the eyes of parents and students are on the holidays of July. Even though there is no major national holiday this month, schools may remain closed in different states due to some religious and regional festivals.

Guru Purnima on 29th July

Schools are likely to remain closed in many areas of Bihar, Uttar Pradesh, Gujarat, Uttarakhand, Madhya Pradesh and Andhra Pradesh on the occasion of Guru Purnima on July 29. Holidays will be announced in different states by the local administration.

Shaheed Udham Singh Martyrdom Day on 31st July

There may be a holiday in schools in Punjab, Haryana and some surrounding areas on the occasion of Shaheed Udham Singh Martyrdom Day on 31st July.

Schedule may change due to weather

If heavy rain, flood, heatwave or other emergency occurs in any state, the concerned state government can impose additional holidays, change timings or other safety measures in schools.
