A CCTV video from Nagpur is going viral on social media. In fact, some youths stopped a policeman’s car in the middle of the road, pulled him out and beat him fiercely. The accused not only dragged the policeman on the road but also vandalized his car. The entire incident was recorded in the CCTV camera installed nearby.
After the incident, the police department took immediate action and started investigation and took 14 accused into custody on the basis of technical evidence. Police say that some of the arrested accused also have previous criminal records.

1. According to the police, this incident occurred on the night of June 28. Initial investigation has revealed that after a minor altercation, the dispute escalated so much that the bike-riding youth stopped the policeman’s car and attacked him. It was told that the policeman was on duty at that time and was going towards Mankapur Chowk in his personal car with a female friend.
2. According to the information, seven to eight youths came riding on motorcycles and parked their bikes in front of the policeman’s car. After this the abuse allegedly started and within no time the accused pulled the policeman out of the car.
3. The attackers beat him up on the road, dragged him and repeatedly kicked and punched him. The policeman’s car was also vandalized during the incident. The entire incident was recorded in the CCTV camera installed nearby.
4. It can be seen in the footage that the attackers are beating the policeman in the middle of the road. After the fight, the accused fled from the spot on motorcycles. The police is now carrying forward the investigation of the case on the basis of this CCTV footage and other digital evidence.
5. The policeman injured in the attack was immediately taken to a private hospital with the help of local people. At present, his treatment is going on and he has been kept under medical observation. As soon as information about the incident was received, the police started investigation. On the basis of CCTV footage, 14 accused were identified and taken into custody.
6. The arrested accused have been identified as Harsh Pawar, Gaurav Dhirde, Sanyam Ganeshpuri, Yes Pratiki, Satyam Shirke, Premraj Dhakate, Akash Bokade, Nitin Gokhale, Vicky Telghare, Bhumi Dev alias Sagar Bokade, Ganesh Uike, Pritam Modekar and Tikaram Barapatre.
7. According to the police, some of the arrested accused have prior criminal history. During the operation, five two-wheelers and goods worth approximately Rs 5.6 lakh were also recovered from their possession.
