Adulteration in food spoils all the hard work: Director Chetan!

Director Chetan’s film ‘The India Story’ forces people to think about the issue of food safety. During the promotion of the film, Chetan told IANS that this story brings to the fore the danger that affects every Indian family.

Speaking to IANS, director Chetan said, “People work hard day and night to earn food for their home, but if the same food becomes poisonous or adulterated, then all their hard work goes in vain. I believe that this is not just an individual problem, if there is any kind of adulteration or poison in the food, it can directly affect the health of the children and other family members.”

Chetan said, “This film has been made for every family and its purpose is to make people aware. In the film, it has been shown how serious are the problems related to food safety and what should we pay attention to. This story is not to scare, but to make people understand why caution is important and how we can keep our food safe.”

He further said, “After watching the film, the audience will realize the seriousness of this issue. This film will make people think and they will become more cautious about their everyday food. The aim of the film is to show how deep these problems present in the society are and that they cannot be ignored.”

Actor Shreyas Talpade will be seen in the lead role in the film ‘The India Story’. This film is especially based on those issues, which include serious topics like pesticide use and food adulteration.
