Pm Modi Will Visit Rajasthan And Gujarat On July 4
Prime Minister Narendra Modi will be on a tour of Rajasthan and Gujarat on July 4. During this period, he will gift development projects worth about Rs 1.06 lakh crore to both the states. These projects include many important sectors like petrochemicals, urban transport, railways, roads, renewable energy, power transmission, aviation and semiconductor manufacturing.
The Prime Minister will reach Jodhpur at 10:45 am on Saturday, where he will inaugurate the new terminal building of Jodhpur Airport and launch the revised UDAN scheme. After this, at 12:15 pm, he will inaugurate, lay the foundation stone and dedicate various projects worth about Rs 1.06 lakh crore in Balotra. On this occasion he will also address a public meeting.
After this, the Prime Minister will reach Sanand in Ahmedabad district of Gujarat at 4:30 pm, where he will inaugurate the Outsourced Semiconductor Assembly and Test Plant and address the people.
The Prime Minister will launch the revised flight scheme from Jodhpur. The scheme, with a budget of Rs 28,840 crore for the next 10 years, will give a new impetus to regional air connectivity and take forward the vision of ‘Ude Desh ka Aam Nagrik’.
Under the plan, 100 new aerodromes will be developed, on which more than Rs 12,000 crore will be spent. Operation and maintenance support of over Rs 2,500 crore will be provided to strengthen the initial operations of regional airports. 200 modern helipads will be built for better connectivity in remote and difficult areas.
Apart from this, airlines will be given Viability Gap Funding (VGF) of more than Rs 10,000 crore to operate regional flights. The scheme will also promote the purchase of indigenous aircraft and helicopters like HAL Dhruv and Dornier.
The Prime Minister will also inaugurate the new terminal building of Jodhpur Airport built at a cost of Rs 480 crore. Spread over an area of more than 23,000 square meters, this terminal has the capacity to handle 20 lakh passengers every year. Modern passenger facilities are available in it.
Its architecture is inspired by the royal heritage of Rajasthan, which features a beautiful blend of arches, windows and modern design. Keeping environment protection in mind, it has been built as per energy efficiency, water conservation and green building standards and a target has been set to get it a 5-star home rating.
The Prime Minister will dedicate to the nation the country’s first Greenfield Integrated Refinery-cum-Petrochemical Complex at Pachpadra in Balotra. Developed as a joint venture between HPCL and the Government of Rajasthan, this 9 MMTPA capacity complex has seen an investment of more than Rs 79,450 crore.
This state-of-the-art project integrates refining and petrochemical production. Its petrochemical capacity is 2.4 MMTPM. The refinery has a Nelson Complexity Index of 17.0 and petrochemical production of over 26 per cent, which is considered in line with global standards. This will strengthen India’s energy security, increase self-reliance in the petrochemical sector and create large-scale employment opportunities with the development of petrochemical and plastic parks in the region.
The Prime Minister will also lay the foundation stone of Jaipur Metro Phase-2 project costing more than Rs 13,000 crore. Under this, a 41 kilometer long North-South Metro corridor will be developed, which will have 36 stations. It will connect key localities like Sitapura, VKI, Jaipur Airport, Tonk Road, SMS Hospital, SMS Stadium, Ambabadi and Vidyadhar Nagar from Prahladpura to Todi Mod.
Apart from this, the Prime Minister will inaugurate Churu-Sadulpur (58 km) and Churu-Ratangarh (46 km) railway doubling projects. These projects, built at a cost of about Rs 900 crore, will strengthen rail connectivity and freight transportation in North-West Rajasthan. He will also inaugurate NH-125A Jodhpur Ring Road Section-2 built at a cost of Rs 740 crore.
In the energy sector, the Prime Minister will dedicate to the nation SJVN’s 1,000 MW Bikaner Solar Project and NHPC’s 300 MW Karnisar Bikaner Solar Project worth Rs 5,500 crore.
He will also inaugurate a power transmission line costing more than Rs 1,900 crore and lay the foundation stone of a 530 km long new transmission system. In this program, appointment letters will also be handed over to about 54,000 youth recruited in various departments of the Rajasthan Government.
Prime Minister will inaugurate CG Semi OSAT facility in Sanand, Gujarat. Developed at a cost of over Rs 7,500 crore, the project is among the first four projects approved under the India Semiconductor Mission (ISM) and is considered a major step towards commercial semiconductor production in India.
Once operating at full capacity, the plant will produce 5 billion (5 billion) semiconductor chips every year. The plant will cater to the growing needs of sectors such as automobile, industrial, telecom, 5G, Internet of Things, Artificial Intelligence and high-performance computing.
End-to-end semiconductor services such as wafer sorting, assembly, testing, package design, failure analysis, test program development, product characterization and logistics will be available here.
