A great example of hard work

A great example of the hard work he put into this role was told by director Ali Abbas Zafar in an interview. He revealed that Salman Khan had worked hard on his body by waiting for four days for an important scene in the film in which he was in a distended state.

‘I’m not ready for this yet’

During an interview when Ali Abbas Zafar was asked, “How did you direct Salman Khan for that stomach-churning scene”https://tezzbuzz.com/topic/karjat”>KarjatHe was supposed to shoot in the first schedule that started in , but at that time he said, ‘I’m not ready for this yet.'”

Took a four day break and

The director further explained, “Later when they were about to start losing weight again for their entry scenes, I told them, ‘Bhai, you are getting fit again, so this scene has to be done now.’ After that he took a break for four days and one day he came to me and said, ‘Let’s shoot this scene today.’ After that he worked out for almost four hours. It was perfect for us, because his upper body still looked strong and heavy in that scene.”

That scene in one take

The director added, “It shows the understanding of an actor who works thoughtfully. Because he is a wrestler and your shoulders and upper body can remain intact to some extent even if you lose fitness. We had two cameras set up and I explained to him three scenes before and after the scene. The scene where Randeep Hooda says to him, ‘You are a dead man and I don’t treat dead people,’ Salman did the whole scene in one take.” I only have one take of that scene.”

I was literally stunned

“When they did that scene, I was literally stunned. As soon as it went out of frame, I said ‘cut’. Then they came out and looked at me like a child. That was the moment when I got the most emotional and intimate experience with Salman Khan. He asked me, ‘Do you want another take?’ I immediately said, ‘No, not at all. We will not do another take.’ He repeated, ‘If you want another take, we can.’ But I told them, ‘No, I got the perfect shot.’ Interestingly, Salman Khan never saw that take. They’ve never seen that tech!”
