Sunil Pal Shuns Massive Offer, Critiques Alia Bhatt, and Reignites Old Feud on ‘India’s Got Latent’

Comedian Sunil Pal is no stranger to speaking his mind, especially when it comes to his longstanding beef with fellow comic Samay Raina. Recently, Sunil found himself in the limelight again, and this time, Alia Bhatt was inadvertently pulled into the fray as well! Sunil revealed to the ever-curious paparazzi that he boldly turned down a tempting ₹25 lakh offer to appear on the Netflix hit, India’s Got LatentSeason 2.

Sunil shared his thoughts candidly, stating, “He offered me ₹25 lakh. I said I wouldn’t curse. ‘Don’t do it, but we will,’ they said,” he recounted, showcasing his steadfast stance on clean comedy.

When quizzed about Alia Bhatt’s involvement in the show, Sunil didn’t hold back, quipping, “Jahan jahan hai Alia, wahan wahan hai gaaliyan. Bajado taliyan. Warna sapne main aayega Vijay Mallya.” (“Where there’s Alia, there are curse words. Now clap, or else Vijay Mallya will haunt your dreams.”)

The tension between Sunil and Samay flared up once more during the season premiere, with Samay reviving his infamous joke, “aap brush kyun nahi karte?” aimed at Sunil. Not one to back down, Sunil retorted with a zinger of his own, “Bhai, main brush nahi karta hoon tune aisa mujhe bola tha na? Par Samay Raina, brush karta hai; tere muh se itni filthagi kyun kalti hai, bhai?” (“You said I don’t brush my teeth, right? But you do—so why does such filth come out of your mouth, man?”)
