In Agra, husband was killed and buried in bathroom, arrested after eluding police for 45 days.

A heart-wrenching case has come to light in Agra district of Uttar Pradesh on Friday. Here the wife murdered her husband and buried his body in the bathroom of the house. After burying the dead body, the woman fabricated a false story about her husband’s disappearance to the family members and went to the police station and lodged a missing report.

The name of the accused woman is Ruby. Name of the deceased, husband’s name was Surendra Sharma. The matter is of Sikandra police station area. After receiving the complaint, the police started searching for Surendra Sharma. Even after several days had passed, the police were still empty handed. He was not able to find any trace of any Surendra. Sikandra police kept searching for the deceased for 45 days on the complaint of his disappearance.

Police reached woman’s house on the pretext of verification

When Surendra Sharma was nowhere to be found, one day the police reached the woman’s house on Friday afternoon on the pretext of verification. The woman got scared after seeing the police at home, after which the police became suspicious of the woman. When the police became suspicious, they started interrogating Ruby strictly and she broke down. Ultimately the woman confessed her crime in front of the police.

What did the woman tell the police?

The woman told the police that she had killed her husband and buried his body in the bathroom of the house. At the behest of the woman, the police removed the tiles from the bathroom and dug up and recovered the body. The body has been sent to the post-mortem house. Ruby has been arrested by the police.

What did the ACP of Agra tell?

Giving information, ACP Hariparvat Ameesha of Agra said that 44 year old Surendra Sharma of Bharatpur lived with his family in Renuka Dham Colony. Wife Ruby, mother Kamla and two daughters also lived with him.

The elder brother of missing Surendra Sharma had informed the police that Ruby’s behavior was not right. On this basis, the police reached Surendra Sharma’s house for questioning on Friday. Ruby got scared after seeing the police. When the police took strict action against Ruby, she informed about killing her husband Surendra Sharma and burying the dead body.
