‘Peddi’ OTT release: When and where to watch Ram Charan’s sports drama
Ram Charan’s Peddi is heading to Netflix, and the wait isn’t long, it starts streaming on July 9.
Netflix India made the announcement on Instagram on Saturday, with the caption: “Aata marocchu kaani, monagadu mathram maradu (The game might change, but the champion remains the same). Watch Peddi, out 9 July, in Telugu, Tamil, Kannada and Malayalam and Coming soon in Hindi, on Netflix.”
The film had a seriously impressive run at the box office after releasing on June 4.
Despite picking up mixed reviews from critics and some controversy around Janhvi Kapoor’s character, audiences clearly didn’t care, and it successfully pulled in Rs 338.98 crore worldwide, with Rs 286 crore coming from India alone, running across over 1.2 lakh shows.

These numbers put it firmly among the biggest commercial hits of 2026.
Directed by Buchi Babu Sana, the film stars Ram Charan opposite Janhvi Kapoor, with a packed ensemble that includes Shiva Rajkumar, Jagapathi Babu, Divyenndu, Boman Irani, Ravi Kishan and several others in key roles.
The music and background score are by Oscar-winning composer A.R. Rahman, and by most accounts, that’s been one of the film’s standout elements.
The OTT release will be available in Telugu, Tamil, Kannada and Malayalam from day one, with the Hindi version arriving shortly after.
On the work front, Ram Charan is set to work with director Sukumar on RC17while Janhvi Kapoor is preparing for her upcoming release Lag Jaa Gale.
