IND vs ENG 2nd T20: India set a target of 191 runs for England, stormy batting by Ishan Kishan and Abhishek Sharma

Ind vs Eng Second T20 Match Live: In the second match of the T20 series being played against England at Old Trafford, the Indian team won the toss and batted first and scored 190 runs at the loss of 7 wickets. Openers Abhishek Sharma and Ishan Kishan played brilliant innings.

15 year old Vaibhav Suryavanshi, who is starting his international career with this match, came out with Abhishek Sharma to open the Indian innings. Vaibhav showed glimpses of his well-known aggressive batting and hit 2 sixes, but his innings could not last long.

Vaibhav Suryavanshi could score only 14 runs in his debut

Vaibhav was out after scoring 14 runs with the help of 2 sixes in 10 balls. He was stumped while trying to play a big shot off Will Jacques. There was a partnership of 50 runs in 4.5 overs for the first wicket between Vaibhav and Abhishek. Soon after Vaibhav was out, Abhishek was also out. Abhishek, playing his 50th match, scored 43 runs in 24 balls with the help of 1 six and 8 fours.

The pair of Ishaan and Shreyas took over

There was an important partnership of 65 runs for the third wicket between Ishan Kishan and captain Shreyas Iyer. Ishaan could not complete his half-century. He was out after scoring 49 runs in 40 balls with the help of 6 fours, while Shreyas was out after scoring 37 runs in 22 balls.

Tilak Verma played an important role in taking the team to 190 by scoring unbeaten 24 runs with the help of 2 sixes and 1 four in 11 balls. Harshit Rana scored 6 runs with the help of 1 six in 3 balls. Sam Curran was the most successful bowler for England. This left arm fast bowler took 3 wickets for 32 runs in 4 overs. Will Jacques and Liam Dawson got 1-1 wickets. Joffra Archer also got 1 wicket.

Vaibhav Suryavanshi broke Sachin’s record

Vaibhav Suryavanshi created history with his debut against England at Emirates Old Trafford. He has broken the 37 year old record of Sachin Tendulkar. He has now become the youngest player to debut in international cricket for India.
