Ram Mandir Donation Scam: An important update has come out in the case of donation theft in Ram temple in Ayodhya. Champat Rai and Anil Mishra, the general secretary of the trust and the vice-presidents of the Vishwa Hindu Parishad resigned after the donation theft case in the Ram temple came to light. A meeting regarding this resignation will be held on July 6 at 3 pm at Mani Ramdas camp in Ayodhya. The meeting will consider the resignation of Champat Rai and Anil Mishra and also discuss the interim report of the SIT.
Besides, the future management arrangement of the temple including the creation of the post of CEO will be discussed. Also, financial information report related to Ram Mandir and other issues related to Ram Mandir are also likely to be discussed. With the permission of the Chairman of the Trust, the Treasurers have held a meeting on Monday (6th July, 2026).

The meeting has been convened at short notice to discuss urgent matters and take necessary decisions. All concerned members are requested to attend the meeting at the scheduled time and place for success. According to the notice of the meeting convened by Trust Treasurer Swami Govind Dev Giri, General Secretary Champat Rai and Trustee Dr. It has been clarified that the first topic of the meeting will be to consider the resignations of Anil Mishra.

The interim report of the SIT regarding the calculation of the funds received from the donation boxes in the Ram temple will also be submitted before the trust. The Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Tirtha Kshetra meeting chaired by Mahant Nritya Gopal Das will discuss the future management arrangements of the temple, consider and approve the income and expenditure accounts and other financial statements for the financial year 2025-26.

The trust said the meeting was called at short notice to discuss urgent matters. This is the first formal meeting of the trust since the case of offering theft at the Ram temple came to light. For the first time, the resignation of senior officers of the trust has been included in the official agenda. The Trust will also discuss the interim investigation report of the SIT. Decisions taken at this meeting can determine not only the leadership of the trust, but also the financial status, administrative accountability and future operations of the temple. Hence, the whole country is keeping a close eye on this meeting to be held on July 6.
