Police encounter in Bahadurgarh: 2 shooters of Lawrence Bishnoi gang killed, major action in Hansi gym trainer murder case

Haryana Lawrence Bishnoi Gang: Two shooters of Lawrence Bishnoi gang have been killed in an encounter between police and miscreants in Bahadurgarh, Haryana. Superintendent of Police STF Vikrant Bhushan gave this information. A joint operation of Special Cell and STF of Haryana Police was conducted in the murder of gym trainer in Hansi.

In a joint operation, Special Cell and STF of Haryana Police killed two wanted criminals, Pravesh and Himanshu, residents of Hisar. Both of them were accused in the sensational murder case of gym trainer in Hansi. A reward of ₹1 lakh each was announced on both of them. On receiving intelligence, the team detected his presence in Haryana and proceeded to nab him.

Police opened fire in self defense

After being completely surrounded, the accused opened fire on the police, in response to which the police took action in self-defense. Both were shot and taken to hospital, where they were declared brought dead. Senior officials along with forensic and crime teams inspected the spot. A case has been registered at Sadar Police Station, Bahadurgarh and further legal action is underway.’

SP STF Vikrant Bhushan said, last month a person named Kapil was killed by two unknown people in Hansi. Kapil used to run a gym in Hansi. A case was registered in this matter at Hansi City Police Station. During the investigation, the two main shooters, Pravesh and Himanshu, were identified and a reward of ₹1 lakh was announced on each of them.

When both the units further processed the information received, it was revealed that both the shooters had modern weapons and ammunition and could attack in Bahadurgarh area. When both the teams tried to stop the shooters, they opened fire on the police team.

A soldier injured in the encounter

SP STF further said that both the shooters opened fire on the police team. In self-defence, Special Staff Counter-Intelligence and STF Bahadurgarh unit also opened fire. Both the shooters (Pravesh and Himanshu) were seriously injured in the encounter. During this time, four policemen wearing bulletproof jackets were shot, but they survived, while one policeman was shot in the leg.

After the encounter, the seriously injured shooters were taken to the hospital, where doctors declared both of them dead and referred the police personnel to a super specialty hospital. He confirmed that both the shooters belonged to the Lawrence Bishnoi gang. There were already cases registered against both of them under Arms Act and 302.
