Aamir Khan ties knot for THIRD time with Gauri Spratt, Children from previous marriages attend function
Mumbai: Bollywood superstar Aamir Khan has tied the knot with longtime partner Gauri Spratt in a private ceremony at his Bandra residence, marking the actor’s third marriage. The intimate wedding was attended by close family members, including Aamir’s children from his previous marriages, along with a select group of friends from the film industry.
A spokesperson for the actor confirmed that the couple officially got married on Sunday after being in a relationship for over two years.
Private wedding attended by family and close friends
The low-key ceremony was attended by Aamir’s daughter Ira Khan and son Junaid Khan, who were seen arriving at the venue before the wedding. Filmmaker Ashutosh Gowariker and actor Elli AvrRam were also among the guests present to bless the couple.

Earlier, Aamir had revealed that the wedding would be a registered marriage followed by a small family celebration, keeping the event away from the spotlight.
A relationship that rekindled after decades
Although Aamir and Gauri first met around 25 years ago, their romance began only after they reconnected in Bengaluru through Aamir’s cousin, Nuzhat Khan. The two reportedly remained in a long-distance relationship for nearly a year before making their relationship public during Aamir’s 60th birthday celebrations in March 2025.
Gauri later moved to Mumbai with her son from a previous marriage and joined Aamir Khan Productions after leaving her corporate job.
Aamir’s previous marriages
Aamir was first married to Reena Dutta in 1986, with whom he has two children, Junaid and Ira. The couple separated in 2002 after 16 years of marriage.
He later married filmmaker Kiran Rao in 2005. They welcomed their son Azad through surrogacy in 2011 before announcing their separation in 2021. Despite the divorce, Aamir and Kiran continue to co-parent Azad and remain professionally associated through Aamir Khan Productions and the Paani Foundation.
The wedding marks a new personal chapter for the actor as he embarks on life with Gauri Spratt.
