Alpha Box Office: Alia Bhatt and Sharwari’s ‘Alpha’ jumps on day two; 21.6% increase in revenue, worldwide crosses 37 crore mark

According to a report by Sacknilk, ‘Alpha’ collected Rs 9.25 crore on its first day. On the second day i.e. the first Saturday, the film registered a huge increase earning Rs 11.25 crores. After this, the domestic net earnings of the film have been Rs 20.50 crores, while the gross earnings have been Rs 24.60 crores.
37.60 crore mark worldwide
Apart from earning domestically, the film has also received good response abroad. ‘Alpha’ has grossed Rs 13 crores overseas, taking the film’s total worldwide collection to Rs 37.60 crores. If the same performance continues on Sunday, the film can cross the Rs 45 crore mark by the end of the opening weekend.

The audience increased on the second day
The film recorded an overall occupancy rate of 26.29 percent on Saturday, which is higher than the first day’s 20.40 percent. The morning show recorded 9.69 percent, the afternoon show 22.31 percent, the evening show 29.46 percent, while the night show recorded the highest viewership of 43.69 percent.

Directed by Shiv Rawal, ‘Alpha’ is produced by Aditya Chopra. Made on a budget of around Rs 130 crore, the film stars Alia Bhatt and Sharwari Wagh along with Anil Kapoor, Bobby Deol in pivotal roles. Hrithik Roshan is also seen in a special role.
‘Alpha’ is the first female-led spy action film in the YRF spy universe and after successful films like ‘Ek Tha Tiger’, ‘War’ and ‘Pathan’, the expectations of the audience are high.
