Bankipur by-Election: Congress made a big move to support Prashant Kishore! Preparation to give tough competition to BJP

Rishi Mishra said that Bankipur assembly seat has been the stronghold of BJP for the last three decades, but this time the political circumstances have changed. According to him, if the opposition fights the elections unitedly instead of disintegrating, then BJP can be given a tough challenge. He said that to defeat BJP, all opposition parties should forget their differences and make a common strategy.
Nitin Nabin left the seat
It is known that Bankipur Assembly seat has become vacant after BJP National President Nitin Naveen went to Rajya Sabha. For this reason, by-elections are being held here. According to the Election Commission’s schedule, voting will be held on July 30 and counting of votes will take place on August 3. On the other hand, Jan Suraj has already announced that he will contest the Bankipur by-election with full strength. The party has indicated that founder Prashant Kishore himself may contest from this seat. The official announcement regarding his candidature can be made on July 5 i.e. today.

Political analysts believe that if the opposition is not united then BJP may get advantage, whereas if there is polarization of opposition votes then the contest may be very interesting. At present, no official decision has come from RJD and Congress regarding the support of Prashant Kishore. The statement of Congress leader Rishi Mishra has come at a time when Bankipur by-election is being considered as the semi-final of the upcoming politics of Bihar. Now everyone’s eyes are on whether the grand alliance makes a common strategy in favor of Prashant Kishor or whether all the parties make the electoral contest triangular by fielding different candidates.
