RSS chief Mohan Bhagwat’s claim: People of five continents…

Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) chief Mohan Bhagwat has said that the interest of people across the world is now increasing in the Sangh’s model of character building and personality development.

Nagpur: Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) Sarsanghchalak Mohan Bhagwat has said that the Sangh’s character building and value-based training model is no longer limited to India only, but interest in it is increasing in different parts of the world. He claims that people from all five continents are expressing their desire to understand the working of the Sangh and adopt a similar training model for the youth of their countries.

Bhagwat made the remarks during an event organized in Nagpur, where the 100th episode of the video series based on the lives and contributions of RSS pracharaks was launched. He said that the objective of the organization is not only to create disciplined individuals but also to create citizens who work with a sense of responsibility towards the society and the nation.

“Model of character building center of attraction at global level”

In his address, Mohan Bhagwat said that many people from India and abroad come regularly to understand the work of the Sangh. According to him, representatives from various countries have shown interest in knowing whether trained RSS workers can go to their countries and train the youth in value-based leadership, discipline and social responsibility.

He claimed that people from all five continents have expressed their desire to understand the Sangh’s training model and adapt it to their social environment. However, he did not name any country or organization nor announced any such formal program.

“The aim of the union is not merely to expand the organization.”

Bhagwat said that the work of RSS is not only to expand the organization. According to him, the basic objective of the Sangh is to create such personalities who can bring positive change by working independently in various sectors of the society. He clarified that the Sangh itself does not directly run the organizations working in various fields.

Rather, volunteers trained in RSS contribute independently in education, service, rural development, social work, culture and other fields as per their interest and needs of the society.

“It is important to put the principles into practice.”

The RSS chief said the principles of the organization cannot be fully understood through books or lectures alone. He believes that their real meaning can be understood only by adopting these values in practice. He said that a volunteer is not identified only by activism, but by discipline, selfless service, social dedication and ethical lifestyle. These values are the basis of the Sangh’s training and implementing them in practical life is the priority of the organization.

Emphasis on maintaining the values of the organization

Mohan Bhagwat said that the current generation of RSS is paying tribute to those who contributed to the establishment and growth of the organization. He said that the organization has expanded with time and has gained more acceptance and respect among different sections of the society.

However, he also said that despite the changing circumstances, the Sangh should not compromise on its core ideas, discipline and working style. According to him, the lasting success of any organization depends on maintaining its core principles.
