UP Politics: Bharatiya Janata Party has intensified its preparations for the Uttar Pradesh Assembly elections 2027. An important meeting was held with NDA allies on Sunday in the capital Lucknow, in which many important issues including election strategy, organizational coordination and future seat sharing were discussed. After the meeting, BJP national president Nitin Nabin said that the Bharatiya Janata Party is capable of contesting the elections on its own, but all the allies of the NDA will contest the elections unitedly. He said that the target has been set to give a new direction of development to Uttar Pradesh through better coordination and coordination among the alliance. Referring to the work done under the leadership of Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath and Prime Minister Narendra Modi, he expressed confidence that NDA will form the government again in the year 2027 on the basis of service and good governance.

Focus on repeating the victory like 2017

In the meeting, priority was given to better coordination between the government and the organization. Deputy Chief Minister Keshav Prasad Maurya said that BJP and organizations will work together so that the historic victory like 2017 can be achieved again. Targeting the Samajwadi Party, he said that the people of the state want development, security and good governance. According to him, the people of the state are with the BJP on law and order and development issues.

The 2017 assembly elections are considered a big political benchmark for the BJP, when the NDA won 325 out of 403 seats. However, this figure decreased in 2022, while the Samajwadi Party strengthened its position. After the 2024 Lok Sabha elections, BJP now seems to be more active at the organizational level.

Allies gave the winning formula

Rashtriya Lok Dal (RLD) national general secretary Trilok Tyagi, who attended the meeting, said that the aim of the alliance would be to field the strongest candidate, irrespective of which ally he is from. Nishad Party President Sanjay Nishad said that at present the priority is to establish better coordination among the workers.

Regarding seat sharing, he said that a decision on this will be taken at the appropriate time and he is hopeful of getting a respectable share. Apna Dal (Sonelal) leader Ashish Patel also admitted that the main objective of the meeting was to establish better communication between the BJP and its allies at the grassroots level.

Emphasis on organizational strength

BJP leaders say that the party’s strong organization, network of workers and development-based politics are its biggest strengths. Former state president and minister Swatantra Dev Singh said that BJP workers rise above caste, region and familyism and work for the organization.
