Ram Mandir Donation Case: The case of alleged embezzlement in the amount of offerings in the grand Ram temple of Ayodhya is continuously heating up. Now a big statement of Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh i.e. RSS Sarsanghchalak Mohan Bhagwat has come out on this entire controversy. While talking to journalists in Nagpur on Sunday, Mohan Bhagwat made it clear that he completely agrees with the statement of RSS chief Dattatreya Hosabale in this matter. He said that whatever the host has said is his opinion too. After this statement it has become clear that the Sangh is taking this matter very seriously and is in no mood to show any laxity against the culprits.
What did Dattatreya Hosabale say?
Earlier on Friday, Sangh government leader Dattatreya Hosabale had expressed deep concern over the incident of theft of Ram temple donations. He had said that the news of theft of the money offered in the Ayodhya Ram temple has deeply shocked the faith of Ram devotees around the world and the entire Hindu society. Hosabale had demanded that this entire matter should be investigated impartially and quickly. Along with this, any person found guilty of theft in this sacred work should be given the harshest punishment. He also expressed apprehension that some anti-Hindu forces are conspiring to defame Hindu religion by taking advantage of this tragic incident. He had appealed to the entire Hindu community to maintain patience and peace in this difficult time so that such conspiracies can be foiled.

Treasurer’s statement also came
Apart from this, Treasurer of Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Teerth Kshetra Trust Swami Govind Dev Giri also issued a public statement for the first time on this matter. Describing the incident as extremely sad, he said that the complete audited account of the offerings is safe and available for investigation. He clarified that he never took any personal benefit from the trust and all payments are made through the banking system. He expressed confidence in the SIT, police and court and demanded fair investigation and strict punishment to the culprits. Also talked about implementing a more transparent system in the future.
A big meeting of the trust will be held on Monday
Amidst this big controversy, a very important meeting is going to be held in Ayodhya on Monday. This meeting will be held among the members of Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Teerth Kshetra Trust at Mani Ramdas Cantonment. The main agenda of this meeting is to discuss the initial report of the Special Investigation Team (SET) formed to investigate donation theft. Let us tell you that at present this matter is being investigated at two different levels. On one hand the police is taking its action, while on the other hand the SET team is closely investigating every aspect. Considering the seriousness of the matter, the tenure of SET has been extended till the end of July. In this meeting of the Trust, a major decision can be taken on the progress of the investigation and further strategy.
Strict rules made for counting donations
After the matter of manipulation in the amount of offerings came to light, the Ram Temple administration has become completely alert. To prevent any such incident in future, very strict rules have been implemented regarding counting of donation amount. According to the new rules, now there will be strict monitoring through CCTV cameras in the room of the temple where the donation money is counted. Apart from this, strict restrictions have also been imposed on people coming and going in the counting room. Even every activity of the staff posted there is being monitored, which includes records of when they go to the bathroom.
Keep an eye on the property of the accused also
The investigating agencies are currently going through all the records of financial transactions. The bank accounts of the suspects and accused are being investigated. Along with this, the investigators are also finding out whether the accused have created any benami property from the donated money. Amidst this entire investigation process, the eyes of Ram devotees are fixed on the trust meeting to be held on Monday.
