Millie Bobby Brown reveals how Jake Bongiovi influenced ‘Enola Holmes 3’ scene
Millie Bobby Brown has opened up about how a romantic gesture from her husband, Jake Bongiovi, ultimately inspired a scene in the newly released Enola Holmes 3.
Speaking to The Independent, the 22-year-old English actress and star of the Netflix franchise revealed she included a scene in the third installment as a tribute to her 24-year-old husband, who braids her hair at night.
The scene features Lord Tewkesbury, portrayed by Louis Partridge, braiding Enola’s hair prior to their swim in the sea.
Discussing the idea, Brown said, “That was my idea. I wrote that into the script.”
“We had this big scene, and we were like, ‘Is it going to be a kiss that’s going to make the audience swoon? What is it?’ And my husband, at night, he braids my hair, and I think it is the most adorable, loving thing. I’m obsessed with the fact that he does that for me,” she added.

The Stranger Things star shared that the moment is particularly meaningful and special to her, which is why she wanted it included in Enola Holmes 3.
“And so I thought, that’s what I want. That’s what I think I want Tewkes to do. It’s such an intimate thing,” she explained.
Joining the conversation, Partridge revealed that he was unaware the scene was inspired by Brown’s personal life.
“Gorgeous, I didn’t know that. It’s amazing,” he said.
Enola Holmes 3led by Brown and Partridge as they navigate life after marriage, is now available on Netflix following its July 1 release.
