Moscow. Russian President Vladimir Putin spoke to US President Donald Trump on telephone on Saturday and congratulated him on Independence Day. Russian President’s aide Yuri Ushakov has given this information. Mr. Ushakov said that President Putin congratulated Mr. Trump on the occasion of America’s Independence Day.
This was the fourth conversation between the two leaders this year. This was not just a formal courtesy talk, but serious and constructive discussions took place on issues of bilateral and international importance. According to Ushakov, Trump said that an early resolution of the Ukraine conflict would pave the way for potentially mutually beneficial cooperation between the two countries.
