Police caught the accused carrying cold drink and motorcycle to Nepal.

Harbanshpur outpost police caught a motorcycle and the accused along with a huge quantity of cold drinks from the Nepal mode of village Karmaini near Nepal border under Lotan Kotwali area and handed them over to the customs.

According to the information, on the orders of Dr. Abhishek Mahajan, Senior Superintendent of Police, Siddharth Nagar and under the direction of Prashant Kumar Prasad, Additional Superintendent of Police and under the able supervision of Vishwajeet Sauryan, Area Officer, Sadar, Hariom Kushwaha, as part of the campaign being run against crime and criminals by the Lotan police station on Sunday, a total of 63.44 liters of cold drink Sprite in one bag, 740 ml, was sold by the Lotan police team as part of the campaign being run against crime and criminals by preventing smuggling. A Nepali accused along with 56 bottles of cold drink sprite of 0.5 liters each and 11 nos of cold drink sprite bottles of 02 liters each in two bags were recovered along with a motor cycle during checking at the Indo-Nepal border on Pakdandi going to Nepal nation from village Karmaini Mod.

The recovered goods were sent to Custom Office Kakarhwa for further legal action. The arrested accused Akhilesh Yadav, age 22 years, son of Tirath Yadav, is a resident of Sakin Kothi Mai police station, Lumbini district, Rupandehi nation, Nepal.
