Delhi: Wife strangles husband to death in front of mother-in-law, marriage took place six months ago

The deceased has been identified as Mustaqeem, who was a delivery executive, while his wife Alisha is a housewife. Both of them got married only about six months ago.

Controversy increased after checking the phone

According to media reports, Alisha alleges that her husband often doubted her character. It is being told that Mustaqeem had checked her mobile phone the night before the incident, after which a heated argument took place between the two. The argument resumed on Thursday and the matter turned violent.

Murder by strangulation with scarf

According to the police investigation, during the fight, Alisha allegedly sat on Mustaqeem’s chest and strangled him with her dupatta. At the time of the incident, the mother of the deceased tried to stop him, but she could not save her son. Mustaqeem was taken to the hospital in critical condition, where doctors declared him dead.

Arrest made from Gurudwara, scarf used in murder recovered

After the incident, the accused woman left the spot. The police arrested him from a nearby Gurudwara. The scarf used in the murder has also been recovered. Jagatpuri police station has registered a case under section 103 of the Indian Justice Code (BNS) and started investigation. Police are investigating the case from all aspects.

Another incident: Youth murdered over dispute over Rs 150

On the other hand, in Tilak Nagar area of ​​West Delhi, 23-year-old youth Paras was stabbed to death over a dispute over just Rs 150. Police have detained three minors in this case. Injured Paras was taken to Deen Dayal Upadhyay (DDU) Hospital, where he died during treatment. The police have registered a case under sections of the Indian Justice Code including murder and other sections and started investigation.
