South Asia’s largest private missile hub to be built in MP’s Shivpuri, Adani’s investment of Rs 2500 crore

Adani Defense Investment: India has taken a huge and historic step towards becoming self-reliant in the defense sector and promoting the manufacturing of modern weapons within the country. Adani Defense and Aerospace Company has laid the foundation of South Asia’s largest private sector missile ecosystem with a huge investment of Rs 2500 crore in Shivpuri district of Madhya Pradesh. With the commencement of this huge and modern project, not only will the strength of the Indian Army increase manifold, but it will also strengthen India’s credibility at the global level.

Explosives and missiles will be manufactured at one place

The most special thing about this very modern and big project is that composite propellant and TNT will be produced here at one place. For your information, let us tell you that TNT is a very powerful and special type of explosive, which is used in military weapons. This is the first time in the history of India that the capacity to produce such war material is being developed on such a large scale in any private sector of the country.

Employment to thousands of youth and industrial revolution

This historic investment by Adani Group is going to completely change the economic and industrial picture of Shivpuri and its surrounding areas. With the commencement of this big project, about 5000 skilled youth of the area will get excellent employment opportunities in direct and indirect ways. Apart from this, the arrival of this plant will also open new avenues of business for small, small and medium industries i.e. MSME sector. This entire project will work to establish Madhya Pradesh as a big and major defense hub of the country.

Welcoming this big investment, Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav has said that this historic investment shows the emerging new face of Madhya Pradesh in the field of strategic manufacturing. This will greatly strengthen the country’s defense system and will also accelerate the pace of industrial development in the state. On the other hand, Guna-Shivpuri region’s MP and Union Minister Jyotiraditya Scindia has called it the beginning of a new golden chapter for the entire region. He said that bringing advanced defense manufacturing to the center of the state will create good quality employment for our youth and create a strong industrial infrastructure for the future.

The country’s security system will become even more impenetrable

Jeet Adani, Director of Adani Defense and Aerospace, has described this new beginning as a very important and necessary step for the security of the country. He says that with the complete work of the missile system at one place and the production of necessary explosive material, India’s military preparedness will become much stronger. This step will prove to be the biggest contribution towards making the country completely self-reliant in defense matters.

These modern missiles will be prepared in the plant

This entire plant is going to be equipped with a completely automated production system and international safety standards, where work can be done on many big missile programs simultaneously. After successful tests conducted in collaboration with Defense Research and Development Organization (DRDO), many next generation modern missile systems will now be manufactured in this plant. These mainly include Next Generation Anti-Radiation Missile, Rudram-2 Missile, Short Range Naval Anti-Ship Missile, Long Range Glide Bomb and Tactical Autonomous Reconnaissance and Attack System.

After Gwalior, now a big explosion in Shivpuri

Let us tell you that Adani Group has already created a very large and strong ecosystem of small arms in Gwalior area of Madhya Pradesh since the year 2020. Essential guns like pistols, light machine guns, carbines and assault rifles are being manufactured in the Gwalior plant, which are being continuously supplied to the Indian Army. Now this new missile project of Shivpuri is going to help a lot in making India a big international supplier of modern and deadly weapons with precise targeting.
