AUS W vs ENG W: The final match of the ICC Women’s T20 World Cup 2026 between Australia women’s cricket team and England women’s cricket team was played at Lord’s, London. Where the Australian team won the toss and decided to bowl first. After which the England women’s cricket team scored 150 runs after losing 4 wickets in 20 overs. In response, Australia women’s cricket team won the match by 7 wickets. With this, the Australian team has won the ICC Women’s T20 World Cup for a record 7th time.

English team had made a respectable score

After losing the toss, the English team, who came to bat first, got a bad start. Wicketkeeper batsman Amy Jones scored only 6 runs. Whereas the other opening batsman Danny Wyatt Hodge also added only 8 runs. English captain Nate Sciver Brunt played an unbeaten inning of 58 runs in 53 balls. Supporting him, Alice Capsey scored 23 runs. In the end Freya Camp scored unbeaten 44 runs in 28 balls. Due to which the English women’s cricket team scored 150 runs at the loss of 4 wickets in 20 overs. Australia women’s cricket team took 1-1 wicket each from Kim Garth, Lucy Hamilton, Annabel Sutherland and captain Sophie Molineux.

Australian team became champion for record 7th time

Australia women’s cricket team, which came to chase the target of 151 runs, got a bad start. Opener Georgia Wall returned to the pavilion after scoring only 9 runs. Whereas superstar opener Beth Mooney performed amazingly and played an inning of 64 runs in 49 balls, which included 10 fours. Supporting him, Phoebe Litchfield also played a brilliant inning of 48 runs. In the end Ellyse Perry also scored 13 unbeaten runs. Due to which Australia women’s cricket team won the match by 7 wickets. With this, the Australian team won the title for the 7th time.
