Women’s World Cup 2026 Final: Australia’s women’s team has won the Women’s T20 World Cup title for a record 7th time. Australia has won the trophy by defeating England by 7 wickets in the final of Women’s T20 World Cup 2026. Batting first, England scored 150 runs. In reply, Australia achieved the target by losing 3 wickets in just 17.1 overs. Beth Mooney once again played a match-winning innings for Australia.

There was a wonderful partnership of 100 runs between Beth Mooney and Phoebe Lichfield.

Georgia Wall along with Beth Mooney started Australia’s innings to chase the target of 151 runs given by England. However, Georgia Wall could not do anything special and was out after scoring 9 runs on 6 balls. Lauren Bell sent him to the pavilion. After this Beth Mooney and Phoebe Lichfield made a partnership of 100 runs for the second wicket, but then Charlie Dean gave the second blow to Australia by dismissing Phoebe Lichfield. Whereas Freya Kemp scored unbeaten 44 runs on 28 balls, which included 4 fours and a six. Apart from this, Alice Capsi contributed 23 runs. On behalf of Australia, Kim Garth bowled brilliantly and took one wicket for just 20 runs in his 4 over spell. Apart from this, Sophie Molineux, Annabel Sutherland and Lucy Hamilton got 1-1 success.
