There will be detailed discussions between Prime Minister Modi and President Prabowo in Indonesia on defense cooperation, maritime security, trade, investment and regional issues. The two leaders will also visit the famous Prambanan Temple in Yogyakarta, which is considered a symbol of the ancient cultural ties between India and Indonesia. Apart from this, the Prime Minister will also address the Indian community.

There is also a possibility of talks regarding the implementation of the recently concluded Free Trade Agreement (FTA). After the visit of the Prime Minister of New Zealand to India in March 2025, emphasis will be laid on carrying forward the momentum in relations between the two countries. Here also the Prime Minister will interact with the Indian community.

Before leaving for abroad, Prime Minister Modi said that India and Indonesia have age-old cultural and civilizational ties, while the partnership with Australia and New Zealand is continuously reaching new heights. Through this visit, India will not only increase economic and defense partnership, but will also present its role in regional stability more strongly.
